Native to South Africa, this plant features fleshy, grass-like leaves that form clumps, creating a lush, green ground cover. It produces tall flower stalks adorned with bright yellow or orange, star-shaped flowers that bloom throughout the year, attracting bees and butterflies. Bulbine frutescens is also known for its medicinal properties, as the sap from its leaves can be used to soothe burns, rashes, and insect bites.
